Overview
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to expand their European portfolio. They are a speciality chemicals company that manufactures and sells functional silane raw materials and intermediates products. With their entity and presence in Germany this would be an ideal location to be based for a remote, experienced Sales Manager to help grow and expand into the European Market.
Your Role:
You will be responsible for selling the company’s silane products. The main customers are rubber processing, composite materials, adhesives, coatings, artificial stone, chemical products trade and other industries.
Assist the company in contacting target customers, developing key customers, conducting market analysis and research, to help the company further expand into the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
- To foster organic growth and cultivate relationships with existing customers as well as acquire and grow new customers, prospects and businesses with a focus on Silane and related markets
- To proactively steer and execute all relevant sales activities.
- To initiate, drive, and materialise technical customer projects as well as new business opportunities.
- To advise customers on the existing product portfolio and present the latest new product developments.
- To contribute and execute sales, marketing, and product strategy.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry or related majors.
- Experience within the rubber processing, composite materials, adhesives, coatings, artificial stone, or chemical products trade sectors.
- Experience in managing distributors. Familiarity with European businesses / distributors is preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English
