Driving Success in the Personal Care Industry

Our expertise in recruiting for Personal care-focused clients has allowed us to fill a range of key positions successfully. To demonstrate our capabilities, we’ve included case studies showcasing some of the roles we’ve successfully filled for clients in this specialised field. 

Technical R&D

An international chemical business, approached us regarding a R&D Chemist vacancy. This position was to be based at a lab and had several particular requirements, such as educational degree, years of experience etc. Witan Search were able to map the market in this region but with a skill shortage in this area we needed to find professionals who were willing to relocate. After a proactive search for this skill set and various employer branding campaigns, Witan Search identified a strong shortlist for this position and the successful candidate is thriving in their new role.

Operational & Technical

Our client, a Personal Care products manufacture, retained our services in order to attain 4-5 Technicians to support their production plant in Belgium. Witan Search were able to identify quickly a long list of professionals suitable for this role by utilising their strong network, supported by various advertising and marketing campaigns. Within 2 weeks, a long list of 10 professionals was provided to the client and 5 were selected for the vacant positions.

Case Study 

Technical Service Representative
in Poland

Our client, an international chemical business, retained our services to build their Technical service team across Europe. This was to be a remote service team supporting clients across Europe. They wanted reassurance that the talent pool was available and that our services would cover the initial need and long-term hiring plans.

1. Challenges

Our client had limited presence in the employment market, and we were competing against some large employers. The demand for these Technical Service professionals was very high, and the technical requirements of the role further reduced the available talent pool. We also had the additional requirement of recruiting a high number of team members within a short period of time.

2. Solution

We embarked on a multi-faceted solution, with the aim of building our client's employer brand and making multiple hires in a short space of time. We created a project team, consisting of Talent Consultants and Marketeers. Working together they would create the brand, proactively pushing this across social media, whilst actively headhunting relevant candidates.

3. Result

The initial project lasted 6 months, during which we recruited a Head of Technical Service, who was tasked with identifying the skill set. Working together, we then headhunted and actively promoted our clients’ vacancies, allowing us to quickly identify and recruit relevant profiles. The success of the project, led to our client agreeing to a long-term solution to ensure the Technical Service team would not suffer staffing issues.
